Dr. Jeffrey R. Dell is Director of the Institute for Female Pelvic Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Dell received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and completed his internship and residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He has extensive postgraduate subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.

Dr. Dell is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Urogynecologic Society.

Dr. Dell has numerous publications in scholarly journals including Urology, The Journal of Pelvic Surgery, Journal of Urology, and the International Urogynecology Journal. He is actively involved in several ongoing multi-center randomized clinical research trials and regularly participates as organizer, invited lecturer, and visiting professor at many local, national, university, and international events. Over the past 5 years, Dr. Dell has presented at international forums in Paris, France; Copenhagen, Denmark; Hallifax, Nova Scotia; Toronto, Onatario; and New York City.

In addition to extensive clinical research experience in interstitial cystitis, Dr. Dell is currently involved in the research and development of biomaterials for use in the treatment of female incontinence and pelvic floor defects.
